+ The heads displayed at the top of the screen relate to each of the
- races. When you select a head, the following information is displayed
- in the middle window:
*<C5> - Name: <C1>name of the empire
*<C5> - Power: <C1>number of known planets and fleets.
*<C5> - Income: <C1>revenue in the last month.
+
+ If you select your own race a slider will also appear in the middle window
- You can use this slider to adjust the amount of money that the computer
- automatically spends on autobuild, research and production. This stops the
- computer spending all your money on these activities if you want to
- keep some money in reserve.
+
+ There are three kinds of expenditure that can be automatically managed
- by the computer. These are, autobuild, research and production.
- You have to ensure enough money is available for the computer to complete
- its tasks. As long as you have plenty of money available the computer will
- be able to meet all the requirements. When the computer can spend more
- than your monthly income, you can determine which area of spending is more
- important. Above the information window, there is a triangle, which can be
- used to determine the percenatge of you money that is spent on each of the
- three areas. Move the small triangle inside to adjust this setting, the
- percentages are displayed by each corner of the triangle.

+ If you adjust the financing of one area to zero, the computer will
- only stop spending money in that area only if there is a shortfall. If
- the needs of the other areas are met with money to spare, the money
- will be allocated to the other area even if it is set to zero.

- <C1>In a big empire, it is hard to follow the state of all your planets
- and fleets. To make it easier, all the information about your planets

- then left click to select. You can then read the information about the
- planet or fleet. If you need more detailed information, left click on
- the info text area, and the detailed information window will appear.
+
- If you would like to return to the starmap, left click on a small
